My teaching interests largely focus around concepts of musical genres and their surrounding communities. I take an interdisciplinary approach to research, and have delivered research modules to students from a variety of creative backgrounds.
I have acted as Module Leader for modules in the following:
- Contextual Studies in Music
- Research Skills & Dissertation
- Music for Visual Media
- Songwriting
I currently teach at the Confetti Institute of Creative Technology (part of Nottingham Trent University) as a Senior Lecturer, and am the Course Leader for the MA pathways in Music Performance and Event Management.
