I'm currently researching three different views of the present: the present is a instant of time, the present is an interval of time, and there is no such thing as the present, but there are still present things. Comparing the merits of these views involves looking at a number of arguments and issues across philosophy, such as Zeno's racetrack paradox, McTaggart's paradox, arbitrariness, mereological harmony, and parsimony.
