Business systems
There are currently over 60 business systems in use within The University of Nottingham, these vary from small applications with a small number of users to larger corporate systems with thousands of users.
Your line manager will advise you as to what systems you will need access to as part of your induction.
Gaining access to relevant business systems?
The Corporate Systems Team are responsible for setting up access to the key corporate systems. Details of how to request access are detailed below for the larger corporate systems; your line manager will have to approve all requests for access.
SciQuest
SciQuest is The University of Nottingham's preferred purchasing tool for products that are enabled on SciQuest. A list of products that are enabled, along with details of how to request access, gain access to the system and training courses is available from the Procurement website:

Agresso
Agresso is The University of Nottingham finance application and is used predominantly by finance users and users who raise Purchase Orders (for products that are not enabled on SciQuest). New user access forms are available from the following link:

KX
KX is The University of Nottingham application used to manage student accommodation, conferences and internal and external catering. New user access forms are available from the following link:

Saturn
Saturn comprises a number of applications that are used to manage student records. These applications comprise of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) admissions, Saturn 3 and Saturn Web. Please email the Corporate Systems Team to request access to the relevant Saturn applications.

Help and support
Issues with systems should be reported to the IT helpline on 0115 95 16677 giving details of the business system you are having issues with and a description of the issue. the issue will then be handled by the relevant department.
