Apple's MobileMe service is being discontinued - 30 June

Many Apple Mac users will be aware of, and may be regular users of, the Apple MobileMe service. Please be aware that this service is being discontinued by Apple, and will no longer be available after 30 June 2012.

This will, in particular, affect users of the iDisk service, Web hosting and Gallery services. More information about transitioning to the new iCloud service is available on the Apple website.

Files stored in iDisk will be unavailable after 30 June and you will need to take immediate action to move these to an alternative location.  

People who have published web pages in the MobileMe service will also be affected as these will also be unavailable after 30 June. Immediate action to move these to an alternative web hosting arrangements will need to be taken.

If you have used the Gallery features of MobileMe and have photos stored there, you will need to take immediate action to move these to an alternative location.
