• Wollaton Library Collection . Literary and liturgical manuscripts from the 12th to the 15th century, the subject of Heritage Lottery Fund and AHRC projects
• Mellish of Blyth and Hodsock . Title deeds, wills, grants and charters dating back to the 12th century, and the 15th century ‘Rushall Psalter’
• Middleton of Wollaton Hall . Large number of title deeds dating back to the 12th century, plus manorial papers, inquisitions, inventories, wills, pardons, cartularies, etc.
• Newcastle of Clumber Park . Title deeds, manorial records and surveys dating back to the 13th century
• Clifton of Clifton Hall . Title deeds, inventories, manorial papers etc., dating back to the 12th century
• Drury-Lowe of Locko Park . Title deeds dating back to the 12th century
• Galway of Serlby Hall . Title deeds dating back to the late 13th century, and 15th-century rental and legal papers relating principally to the Manor of Cavill, Yorkshire
• Holden of Nuthall Temple . Title deeds dating back to 1296
• Manvers of Holme Pierrepont and Thoresby Hall . 14th and 15th century compoti and miscellaneous medieval documents
• Parkyns of Bunny . Title deeds, manorial papers, inquisitions and legal papers, dating back to c.1250
• Potter Collection . Miscellaneous title deeds dating back to the 13th century
• Smith-Bromley of East Stoke . Title deeds dating back to the 14th century
• Miscellaneous Deeds Collection . Title deeds dating back to the 13th century

In addition to caring for its documents, Manuscripts and Special Collections has produced a series of online ‘Research Guidance’ pages giving advice for anyone wishing to consult archive material. Units of particular relevance to Medieval research are ‘Dating Documents ’, ‘Deeds in Depth ’ and ‘Manorial Records ’.
