Research Summary
My PhD research is in philosophy of colour. Specifically, I am interested in determining the nature of the colours, understood as the entities referred to and perceived by ordinary human observers.
Currently, I am researching colour-dispositionalism and more generally under what conceptions of dispositions can they be causes.
Past Research
My MA thesis was a defense of two Intentionalism-defeating inverted spectrum thought experiments. The two arguments that I defend are the argument from no-inference and the argument from symmetry. I first show that the argument from no-inference can be modified to comply with an additional condition on veridical perception. Second, I show that the argument from symmetry can be modified so that it rests on a successful analogy.
