ESRC CASE funded PhD Studentship for 2016 entry

The University of Nottingham and the ESRC DTC are offering a fully funded PhD studentship in collaboration with the Committee on Standards in Public Life (CSPL, located in the Cabinet Office).

The project fits in a broad field of empirical political science that focuses on the functioning of representative democracy. This project investigates citizens’ perceptions and evaluations of political responsiveness, public probity, corruption, and standards in public life, as well as attitudes that relate the citizen to the wider political system, such as cynicism, trust, and norms about the proper role and conduct of, and interactions between public figures and citizens.
