Biography

Rifat Mahmud is a doctoral researcher at the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham, UK. Rifat is funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission UK in association with FCDO for his PhD research. He completed his Bachelor and Masters of Social Sciences in Public Administration from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He then completed his Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) Program in Public Administration from Department of Administration and Organization Theory at University of Bergen, Norway. His academic articles have been published in notable journals such as Asia Pacific Journal of Public Administration, International Journal of Public Administration, Local Government Studies, and South Asian Survey.
