Undergraduate Theology and Religious Studies Courses

Established over 50 years ago, the Department has research expertise across a wide range of areas and ranked among the top 10 theology departments in the country in the latest Research Assessment Exercise. You can choose from a wide choice of modules, from the life and teaching of Jesus to Darwinism; from English fantasy literature to the Hebrew Bible; and from Christianity to Rabbinic Judaism. Current students report the highest levels of satisfaction in the University with the teaching, academic support and organisation of the course.

 

Theology and Religious studies courses are highly demanding and highly rewarding.
The study of theology requires a demanding range of interpretive and philosophical skills.
