Supporting University Governance
A team ready to make it happen
A team of individuals works within the University to support University Council and other key governance bodies such as Senate.
This team is led by the University’s Registrar Paul Greatrix who is Secretary to University Council. Staff in the Registrar's Office, and the University's Governance Services team support the work of Council.
Registrar's Office:

Pam Lowe is the Registrar’s Personal Assistant and manages his private office. Pam works closely with all the team supporting the University Council and co-ordinates logistical support for Council members.

Anne Holtom is an administrator in the Registrar’s Office who supports the effective operation of Council and Senate. Anne has responsibility for the arrangements for the meetings, including the preparation and circulation of papers.

Governance Services:
|
Clare Gough is the Head of Governance and the key point of contact within the University for all members of Council on matters apart from practical logistics. Clare supports the Registrar with Council meetings. She can facilitate visits for Council members and co-ordinate links between the internal University community and external members of Council to the benefit of the wider community. A Committee Secretariat which will offer direction to ensure that key sub-committees link effectively into Council is currently being developed and Clare will manage the development process.

Claire Mclean works as part of the Governance services team where her work includes providing support for one of the University's key governing bodies: University Council.
