Biography

Laura has 15 years experience as a UK Registered Dietitian. She has experience in paediatric dietetic care provision working in both acute and community NHS settings, industry experience working in the Research & Development team for a UK clinical nutrition company developing a range of specialist paediatric nutrition products and extensive experience as a Research Dietitian at the Bristol NIHR Biomedical Research Centre in Nutrition, Diet & Lifestyle, undertaking a wide range of research activities to optimise nutrition to improve the health of children with chronic disorders.

Laura completed an NIHR Clinical Doctoral Research Fellowship award in 2022 to investigate the feasibility of glycaemic index dietary intervention for managing glucose abnormalities in cystic fibrosis. She is excited to join the Dietetics Team at the University of Nottingham in 2022, contributing to UG and PG teaching and admissions.
