Nursing taster day
Thinking of studying nursing and want to know what it will really be like?
Join us on Tuesday 12 December, 9am - 3pm for a dedicated nursing taster day. It’s a perfect opportunity for you to find out more about our courses, our facilities and the support available to you when you study with us.

What will the day involve?
This interactive day will give your hands-on practical experience, where you'll practice your skills in our state-of-the-art Immersion Simulation centre. Get stuck in on our mini simulation ward for child and adult nursing and get involved with an interactive session for mental health. You’ll also practice and understand the basics of observations and bedside care for patients.
There will also be a mini taster lecture, an interview preparation session and information about the financial support available to you while you're study with us.
Throughout the day there our current students and academic team will be on hand to answer any questions you might have. We will have information stands for our support services including disability support and uniforms.
All you need to do is bring yourself, we’ll provide refreshments and lunch.

Timings
Registration is 10.30am to 10.45am (if you get here earlier, that’s ok, our students will be there and happy to chat with you).
End time - if you don't want to miss anything but do need to leave early you can, however, we recommend staying until at least 3pm.
There will be a Q&A and wrap-up session from 3pm to 3.30pm
