Nursing Courses

As one of the largest nursing schools in the UK, we offer innovative courses informed by powerful research and delivered by high-quality teachers in an inspiring environment.

We were intending to introduce a new curriculum based on new national educational standard being introduced by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Unfortunately,  we have been informed that these standards are now delayed therefore we are unable to commence the new curriculum in September 2018. We are however introducing a number of the promised aspects.

BSc Nursing at a glance:
  • First year standard term (no teaching or placements during the summer holiday)
  • Opportunities for an elective placement and ERASMUS funded European placement
  • Some placement choices and a placement exchange scheme
  • Study extra qualifications, ie the Dementia Certificate
