BSc Nursing at a glance:

  • First year standard term (no teaching or placements during the summer holiday)
  • Opportunities for an elective placement and ERASMUS funded European placement
  • Some placement choices and a placement exchange scheme
  • Study extra qualifications, ie the Dementia Certificate
 

The Nursing and Midwifery Council plan to introduce new national educational standards for nursing in 2018. As such, we intend to commence a new curriculum in September 2019, based on these standards. This is subject to the ratification of the Nursing and Midwifery Council. This page will be updated as the new curriculum is confirmed
