Biography
Following undergraduate studies (MPharm) in UoN, Leanne undertook her pre-registration pharmacist training in a community pharmacy in Ipswich, UK. After registration, she continued to work in the UK as a community pharmacist. In mid 2019, she returned to Malaysia and pursued PhD studies in the field of pharmacology. It was during this time, that she developed an interest in education and training. Subsequently, she joined the UNM School of Pharmacy as an assistant professor in September 2023.

She is working closely with researchers from the school and other institutions on exploring the pharmacological activities of medicinal mushrooms and natural products on smooth muscles. She also has an an interest in the use of Virtual Reality (VR) as a teaching tool to enhance students learning experience.
