The DTP offers studentships for UK and international students
The Nottingham BBSRC DTP awards cover fees and stipend at the UKRI rate (including a fees at the home fee rate). Recruitment for international students however is now closed for October 2024 start.
Round 2 of recruitment is now open for Home students only and the deadline to submit an application is Friday 3 May 2024 at 12 noon.
International students
The DTP is open to UK and international applicants (including candidates from the EU) in round 1. We are able to recruit a limited number of international postgraduate researchers to the programme in line with UKRI guidance (maximum 30% of intake). Due to this cap, we are unable to guarantee places to any/all international applicants.
International fees are higher than the UKRI rate noted above, but successful international candidates will be put forward for University Fees Difference Scholarships to support international applicants' fees above the UKRI level.
