Description
Principle Component Analysis (PCA) is a statistical tool for the visualisation of trends in large data sets. The attributes measured for the samples are projected out and viewed in a 2 dimensional plot. Attributes that behave in the same way (correlate) across samples will cluster together. At the same time the samples themselves can be projected out onto the plot. The samples will cluster near to attributes that are high in those samples. The talk will cover, what is PCA, what it can do for you, and there will be a step by step demo showing how to do PCA using Excel-statistics tool.
