Course delivery platform: Moodle

The University of Nottingham has adopted the Moodle "Virtual Learning Environment" (VLE) as the platform for all of its e-learning programmes. Materials for each module are accessed within this secure, web-based learning environment, which organises all of your electronic resources into a convenient "one-stop-shop" as well as providing chat room facilities for engaging in discussion threads with your colleagues.

The Virtual Library resource

Students on our postgraduate brewing programs have an impressive array of electronic literature resources at their disposal, with which to support their learning. This includes access to the full University of Nottingham e-Journal catalogue. Many journal article files are linked directly from the relevant course pages and this resource is supplemented by e-book chapters which provide recommended reading for the distance learning part of the course.
