About Arvind Balan

Arvind is the CFO of a business with revenues of over £6bn. Over the last few years he has led the turnaround of Rolls Royce Plc, moving its share price from £0.7p to over £3.10 today. Prior to his time in Rolls Royce, Arvind spent a decade in the energy industry. He has turned several businesses around increasing their valuations by several multiples. Prior to Rolls Royce he was the China CFO and Head of Upstream M&A of Shell Plc.

Arvind has also been involved in some large M&A transactions. His notable ones are Shell's acquisition of BG group for over $6bn and the merger between Arcelor and Mittal for over $35bn. With experience working in the UK, China, Singapore and East Europe, he will share his experiences and stories of what real value creation involves in global corporations today.
