Speakers
Professor Simon Mosey
Simon is Director of the Haydn Green Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Visiting Professor at Ghent University. He is editor of the Journal of Technology Transfer and his research interests address technology entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education and building a culture of innovation. He is co-author of the popular books, Ingenuity and Building an Entrepreneurial Organisation and has published his research within leading academic journals such as Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Research Policy, Journal of Management Studies, Academy of Management Learning & Education and periodicals such as the Washington Post and the Financial Times. He is chair of the award-winning Your Entrepreneurs Schemes that have developed the entrepreneurial skills of over 5000 academic researchers. Simon has held research and management posts at Akzo Nobel and Courtaulds.
Jose Francisco González
José Francisco is a Genome Biotechnology professional who graduated from UANL, in Monterrey, Mexico in 2013 and then gained an MSc (with Distinction) in Applied Biopharmaceutical Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship from the University of Nottingham in 2016. After being involved in a number of marketing and commercial roles within the Life Science industry both in Mexico and the UK, he rejoined the University of Nottingham to undertake a PhD in Business and Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Innovation and graduated in 2022. José Francisco joined the University of Nottingham Business School as the Ingenuity Learning Support Development Officer for the Haydn Green Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in September 2021 where his practice revolves around Teaching and Learning, Academic Research, and Knowledge Exchange Activities.
