The visit highlighted key themes in business growth including innovation, resilience, and the importance of adapting to a constantly evolving market. The Castle Rock team also shared valuable insights into how they navigate industry challenges while staying true to their core values.

Students enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the brewery, offering a unique glimpse into the craft behind their renowned beers.

Dr José Francisco González, Assistant Professor in Inclusive Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Innovation/Deputy Director of MSc Entrepreneurship Programmes, who attended the visit commented:

"Lectures usually include case studies form large corporations, however introducing students to locally grown companies can be a more effective trigger for their entrepreneurial spirit. It was great to see that the Castle Rock values can be seen in everything they do."

Students found the both informative and inspiring. Bhakti Manohar Ayalane, MSc Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Management student, shared:

“Changing with demand, and how external environments affect a business were key takeaways for me from the visit.”

A big thank you to Castle Rock Brewery for warmly welcoming our students and providing such a valuable learning experience.
