Fred is Associate Dean for Education and Student Experience at NUBS where she leads a suite of activities aimed at improving teaching quality and student experience.
Prior to joining the University of Nottingham, Frederique (Fred) spent 10 years as an accounting lecturer at undergraduate and postgraduate level and in the Learning and Teaching unit at RMIT University Vietnam. Before that, she was working for an accounting firm in France and Vietnam.
Fred has taught a variety of courses including introductory accounting, financial accounting, management accounting, accounting theory, auditing and assurance, strategic decision making, accounting for MBA and Executive MBA, Accounting for sustainability and Advanced Financial Reporting.
Fred holds a PhD in Business, a MBA (Education), a Msc in Accounting and Finance and a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching and Learning.


Areas of Expertise
Fred is involved in professional development in learning and teaching for academic staff members in the Business School.

Fred teaches in the area of financial reporting and auditing.

Fred's research interests include the scholarship of learning and teaching including feedback and in particular audio and video feedback, blended learning, inclusive teaching, Work-Integrated Learning and graduate employability as well as accounting education and professional accounting bodies affiliation.
