Jimmy Huang is Professor of Digital Innovation. Prior to rejoining Nottingham University Business School, he was the Assistant Dean at Warwick Business School. Jimmy's research focuses primarily on artificial intelligence, digital innovation, digital transformation and knowledge management from the perspective of organisation, strategic management and entrepreneurship. More recently, Jimmy's research focuses on the growth of FinTech startups through the use of digital technology.

Jimmy's academic leadership is reflected in a substantial volume of highly cited articles in journals, such as MIS Quarterly, British Journal of Management, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology, International Journal of Human Resource Management. In addition to regular research incomes, Jimmy also has extensive research collaborations with organisations within and outside the U.K., including over 40 case studies that have been conducted in the past, and ongoing engagements with the research community, industry and media. Jimmy is one of the associate editors for Information & Management.
