Dr Terri Holloway is Head of The Ingenuity Lab, a business incubator run by the Haydn Green Institute, which helps University of Nottingham students, staff, and alumni develop their entrepreneurial ambitions.
In 2020, Terri was also appointed to Nottingham University Business School's Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) scheme, where she employs her experience as the founder of Swap Meat, Ltd., a plant-based nutrition company that promotes the disease-preventive properties of plant-based diets and specifically aims to help those within high-risk populations. As an EIR, Terri engages in activities that include mentoring Ingenuity Lab businesses and SMEs, delivering business training seminars, and contributing to academic research.
Terri studied at the University of Nottingham's School of Biosciences, where she completed her PhD research in the department of Nutritional Sciences located on the University's Sutton Bonington campus.
Terri also holds a Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a dual-major bachelor's degree in English and Journalism. She has taught Business Communications courses and has travelled internationally, presenting her findings on the benefits of plant-based nutrition.
