Biography

Dr Emma O'Dowd is a consultant respiratory physician at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. She was awarded a PhD entitled Factors influencing the diagnosis and subsequent prognosis in patients with lung cancer in April 2017 funded by the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. Her research interests are lung cancer screening and early diagnosis of lung cancer. She is a member of the British Thoracic Society Lung Cancer & Mesothelioma Advisory Group, Lung Cancer Clinical Expert Group and the IASLC Tobacco Control and Smoking Cessation Committee.
