Do emotional carryover effects carry over?

A paper recently published in the Journal of Behavioural and Experimental Economics co-authored by Nik Masters, Tim Lloyd and CeDEx's Chris Starmer has gained press attention, including articles on the BBC webpage, on-line outlet Study Finds, and The Hindustan Times. The paper shows that emotional news stories have a strong impact on men's financial decision making.
