Peter Ling discusses the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.

Peter Ling (American and Canadian Studies) has two pieces published to mark the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. on April 4 1968.  "The Global Legacy of Martin Luther King" in BBC World History issue 9 April/May 2018 pp30-37 and "M.L.K: The Historians' View" in BBC History (April 2018) pp61-65. Peter will also be contributing to a conference on Dr King at the British Academy in London on 4 April and subsequently at memorial conferences in Italy.
