Welcome to Pete O'Connor, who joins American & Canadian Studies for a three-year post as Teaching Associate. Pete completed his PhD at Northumbria, and his first monograph on American Sectionalism in the British Mind, 1832-63 was published in 2017. The Department is very pleased to have expertise in 19th-century U.S. History once more.
