This is a great programme of events in conjunction with the British Academy, including: 

Stand-up comedian Henning Wehn

He will be performing on Thursday November 22nd, at lunchtime, room details to follow.

   

Workshop Open to All Students

Interactive workshop with one of Nottingham’s biggest employers, Experian, and with Dr Maike Oergel, on the value of language skills to prospective employers, as well as translation studies and careers.

Professor Elizabeth Boa 
Languages: Speeding towards the future and remembering the past

Speech by Elizabeth Boa – who retired from Nottingham just a few years ago - and is a great inspiring speaker. Don’t miss it!

There will also be a small exhibition on the history of learning German in the UK.
