Dr. Naixia Wang joined the Institute of Contemporary Chinese Studies (the predecessor of the School of Contemporary Chinese Studies) in September 2000, teaching Mandarin language courses at different levels, including beginner, intermediate and advanced. Prior to coming to The University of Nottingham, she was a Chinese Language Tutor of Cardiff University between 1998 and 1999.
She was a university lecturer at Shanxi University, Taiyuan (1986-1994) and Capital University of Economics and Business, Beijing (1994-1997) before she came to the UK.
