Research paper breaks 1000 citations

Professor Bob John, who heads the ASAP research group, has had a paper reach 1000 citations in Google Scholar. The 2002 paper "Type-2 fuzzy sets made simple" was published in IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, the leading journal on fuzzy logic.
1000 citations is an excellent achievement for such a relatively recent paper, and reflects the importance of the paper for the fuzzy logic community.
