Admission free and all welcome.
The Mandarin Corner aims to provide a relaxed and fun learning atmosphere as well as opportunities for people who are interested in Chinese language to meet new friends, practice Chinese and develop an understanding of Chinese culture.
Workshops are led by NCI teachers covering topics such as the Chinese education system, family life and peer pressure. In addition, taster sessions on calligraphy, Peking opera, Kung Fu etc are delivered regularly along with seminars led by guest speakers on Chinese Feng Shui, antiques and contemporary movies etc.
Date and time: 18:30-20:00 Thursdays, term-time only (usually from the second week to the second from last week of autumn, spring and summer terms)
