Do you have a disability, mental health difficulty, long-term medical condition, autistic spectrum condition, or a specific learning difference such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia or ADHD? Contact our Disability Support Services team to set up a Support Plan.
A support plan outlines the reasonable adjustments that the university will implement to ensure you can study and learn comfortably, and to help you achieve your full potential at university.
Undergraduate and postgraduate taught students
We have three deadline dates during each academic year which you need to make sure you have highlighted your requirements to us. You only have to do this once to cover yourself for the full length of your course.
For autumn semester exams, follow our step-by-step guide by 12 noon on Wednesday 5 November 2025 to ensure your Support Plan is ready.
Please note – you can contact us at any point during the year, but the deadline dates are the latest dates we can make reasonable adjustments for the next upcoming exam period. This helps ensure enough time for us to consider the necessary adjustments and to communicate with the Exams Office, Timetabling, and your faculty.
