Engagement

The University needs to communicate with a wide range of global audiences. This includes our current students and staff, prospective students and staff, academics at other institutions, partners, alumni, business leaders, third sector representatives, governments, media, funders and other supporters.

With digital technologies offering new opportunities for how we reach, communicate with and nurture relationships with multiple audiences, we are committing to:

  • Developing the most effective and efficient systems for communicating with and connecting our staff and students across campuses around the world
  • Advancing our website as a tool for attracting and engaging the highest calibre of students and staff no matter where in the world they are from
  • Utilising third party technologies and approaches to ensure our offer, our services and the impact of our work reaches the right people at the right time
  • Implementing and enhancing our use of systems such as customer relationship management (CRM) technologies to ensure consistency of communications and relevance throughout the lifecycle of an individual's relationship with us
  • Using advanced intelligence and data to inform how, when and where we engage with different audiences to maximum effect.
