PGR student, Shuying Li, receives Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad
Congratulations to
Shuying Li
who has been successful in her application for a prestigious and competitive
Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad
. With more than half a million Chinese students studying abroad each year, only 650 awards are given, with the academic committee only considering doctoral students with outstanding academic achievement.
Shuying 's research is focussed on dialogical teaching in Chinese and English Schools. She is a member of the
Centre for Researching Inclusion and Social Justice in and through Education (RISE)
and is supervised by
Dr Yuwei Xu
and
Dr Rupert Knight
