Staff communications
The Internal Communications team manages central communications that are aimed at a large proportion of colleagues at the University of Nottingham. If you have a message for a specific school or faculty, please contact the appropriate faculty marketing and communications manager.
Due to a high volume of requests, please be aware that we work on a minimum seven day turnaround to upload finished copy to internal communications channels.

Staff Room
Important messages are uploaded to Staff Room daily. Content on this channel should be applicable to a wide majority of staff.
Campus News
Campus News is our platform for news and events taking place across the university.
Campus Update
Once a week, the Internal Communications team will select highlights to include in the Campus Update email. This is sent every Tuesday and includes:
- important messages affecting staff
- highlights from our community
- featured events
Read guidelines for the Campus Update email, including details around suitable content, the purpose of the email and more.
Please note, if you have content that you wish to be considered for Campus Update please contact us no later than one week before Campus Update goes out.

Events
Events can be promoted on Campus News, as well as the university's central events page and centrally managed screens located around our UK campuses. Design requests should be submitted via the Design Team six weeks prior to the start of the event using the creative brief. This allows a clear month to use the designed materials to promote your event. Please inform your faculty marketing manager as they can help and advise on promotional opportunities.
Due to a high volume of requests, we are only able to publish events which have promotional materials designed by our in-house design team or one of our agency partners.

If you have an item that you would like to communicate to a staff audience, please send copy and images to campusnews@nottingham.ac.uk. The Internal Communications team will then offer support to feature your item on our internal channels.
