EMACT Reading Competition 2012

Description

The East Midlands Association of Classical Teachers (EMACT) Reading Competition is an annual event, usually held in the spring term and is hosted by local schools. The competition is open to students of both Latin and Greek at different levels, offering them the opportunity to read passages set according to their ability. Prizes are awarded for each section of the competition.

There are six sections to the competition: novice (Y6-7) and junior (Y8-9) Latin; intermediate (Y10-11) Latin and Greek; senior (Y12-13) Latin and Greek.

The Reading Competition in 2012 will be held on Wednesday March 7th 2012 at 2.15pm at Nottingham High School, Waverley Mount, Nottingham NG7 4ED.
