LatinNow's Touring Exhibition visits FIEC/CA 2019

LatinNow’s Touring Exhibition: VOCES POPVLI
Sunday 7 July 2019 (all day) – Publishers’ Exhibition Hall, Institute of Education, UCL

The LatinNow Touring Exhibition will be displayed at the 15th conference of the Fédération internationale des associations d’études classiques (FIEC) on Sunday 7 July. This conference is taking place in conjunction with the 2019 Classical Association annual conference, running from 4-8 July 2019 in the Institute of Education (UCL) in London.

The LatinNow project (University of Nottingham, ERC funded, 2017-2022, latinnow.eu) is investigating the spread of Latin, the fates of local languages and life in the north-western Roman provinces. As part of their outreach and dissemination they are undertaking a European touring exhibition across six countries between September-October 2019. The tour will be stopping at universities and museums, as well as delivering schools activities, handling sessions and training. They will be ‘popping-up’ at the FIEC/CA conference to unveil the display. The team hope to talk to as many classicists as possible about outreach and research, and to forge future collaborations.

Please drop by to talk to the team (Morgane Andrieu, Francesca Cotugno, María José Estarán, Pieter Houten, Noemí Moncunill, Alex Mullen, Simona Stoyanova, Anna Willi) on Sunday 7 July in the exhibition hall at the Institute of Education.
