On 2 November, an event was held for MA students studying the new myth module, Myth, Society and Religion, who are thinking about how to communicate myths in different settings.

They heard from Clare Pickersgill (Keeper, The University of Nottingham Museum) about designing museum exhibitions, as well as visiting speakers David Wilson, the film director whose work includes BBC4's Guilty Pleasures, and Steven Hunt from the Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge.  David discussed how to think about writing a film script, while Steven guided the students through lesson planning for Year 10 students.

This aspect of the module is intended to help students work on their communication skills, giving them valuable insights from professional 'communicators' who work in a range of different industries.
