PG History Work in Progress Seminars are running online this spring

Wednesday 10 March 2021

The History Postgraduate Work in Progress Seminars are a seminar series run by postgraduates for postgraduates. These sessions facilitate interdisciplinary discussion, enable shared learning, and provide a supportive and friendly environment for those in the early stages of their research to hone presentation skills and test out developing ideas. We welcome postgraduate students at any stage (Masters or PhD) with an interest in history to join us!

All seminars for the spring-summer semester will run on Microsoft Teams, 4 – 6pm. The first hour will be dedicated to presentations and discussion, while the second hour will be open for socialising and catching up.

This week's session

Becca Wheddon - 'Language and the Creation of a King in the Reign of Henry VII'
Alex Riggs - 'Moving vigorously to the Left, the Right and the Centre, all at the same time? Making sense of late Twentieth-Century American politics'

The seminar will take place on Microsoft Teams at 4pm.

Please email Natalie Grace or Frederick Lloyd Williams to be added to the group.
