On Tuesday 30th September 2014 there will be a one day non-residential regional networking conference and colloquium funded by the British Academy.

Held at The Queen’s College, Oxford, it presents a unique opportunity for current Post-Doctoral Fellows (PDFs) and early-career academics in the humanities and social sciences to meet in order to discuss ideas about pedagogic practice. There will be a programme of short talks by guest speakers, panels and a round-table discussion to close the day. All early career academics are welcome to submit a proposal for a paper.

If successful we propose to make this an annual out-of-London regional ‘Heart of England’ event, creating a regional network to connect British Academy PDFs with other academics working with philosophies of pedagogy and the dissemination of good teaching practice across the humanities and social sciences.
