Dr. Nick Baron and Dr. Siobhan Peeling of the Department of History have co-curated an exhibition titled ‘When the War Was Over: European Refugees after 1945’ which will be displayed at the New Art Exchange in Nottingham during Refugee Week, 16-23 June 2014.
The exhibition, which has already been shown at Nottingham Castle, at the University of Nottingham and at the University of Glasgow, arose from an AHRC research project and was funded by an AHRC follow-on grant. The other curators were Prof. Peter Gatrell (History, Manchester) and Dr. Jenny Carson (Holocaust Education Trust).
