National Student Survey 2011

NSS speak up

The National Student Survey is aimed at all final year undergraduates in the UK and gives you a chance to make your mark on the University. The survey doesn’t take long to complete and consists of 22 questions – it asks about the teaching on your course, on the assessment and feedback you have had, on the learning resources available and on how the course was organised. As well as specific questions there is also opportunity to provide open-ended comments.

Last year, 74% of History finalists took part in the survey – that’s a very good response rate, but this year we want it to be even higher! The more of you participate, the better picture we will get of what you think we have done well and how you think your experience as a student could have been improved. The feedback from the National Student Survey is very important to us – and also to future generations of students, for whom NSS results can influence their choice of what and where to study.

Please complete the National Student Survey online by Saturday 30th April 2011.

The University National Student Survey page provides some more background to the survey and tells you about improvements that have been made in Nottingham thanks to student feedback.
