Article on James Woodford dedicated to Carole Mallia

Dr Denise Amos has published research about the Nottingham sculptor and artist James Woodford. Her essay, written for the Nottinghamshire Heritage Gateway website, is dedicated to the memory of former Department of History staff member Dr Carole Mallia.

Carole had discovered that she was related to James Woodford when conducting her own research. Woodford’s best known work in Nottingham is the statue of Robin Hood that stands outside Nottingham Castle.
