One of our Department of History academics was pleased to discover his article has been discussed on BBC HistoryExtra.

Dr Matthew Ward’s article “True blue: the connection between colour and loyalty in the later Middle Ages”, published in the Journal of Medieval History, discusses the relationship between the colour blue and the virtue of loyalty during the later Middle Ages.
