Final Year History Undergraduate Wins Research Award for Dissertation
The School of History congratulates third year history undergraduate Leanne Newton, who has been awarded £230 from the
Norfolk and Norwich Archaeological Society
for the costs of research for her history dissertation on heresy in late medieval East Anglia. This enabled her to travel to archives and to copy a number of primary sources in manuscript that were crucial to her project. Leanne had to apply by submitting a research proposal and a break-down of costs to the Council of the Society. It had to be a research project on a Norfolk related topic. She will have to submit a summary report at the end of the year which may be published in their journal.
