New funded PhD scholarship with the DTH

The DTH (Digital Transformations Hub) is offering one half-funded PhD Scholarship to provide support within the Hub.

The DTH supports research and teaching with digital technologies across the Faculty of Arts. The ideal candidate is interested and enthusiastic about digital technologies, and is willing to learn about the latest technologies and share their learning with others. You do not need to be a “digital expert” to take up this role; the DTH team will provide training and support for you to learn a variety of software packages, digitisation methods, and more.

The award covers half of a UK full-time postgraduate research tuition fee per year (£2,248 for 2021/22), for up to three years, subject to satisfactory progression. This award is open to current Faculty of Arts students ONLY, or students with a conditional or unconditional offer to study a PhD within an eligible Department with an entry date by 1 October 2021.

Application deadline midday, 29 October 2021.

Find out more about this opportunity on the DTH website.
