Early Years Practitioners
Childcare Services has been operating since 1995 and provides day care & holiday play-scheme services to staff and students at the University of Nottingham. We have an excellent reputation at the University, evidenced by our long waiting list of over 250 people. Our nurseries have both achieved Ofsted Outstanding ratings that reflects our ambition to provide high quality childcare & education to the University community.
We believe that it is our team and the contributions that individuals make working together that helps us continuously review and improve the services that we offer to children and their families. All of our staff are qualified to minimum level 3 and we are actively committed to continuous professional development of our staff.
Following a structural review of our service and internal promotion of practitioners to management positions, we are looking for early years specialists to join our team and continue to drive our service forward. We also have a few positions available as several staff are returning to work following maternity leave on a job share basis and several staff are going on maternity leave.
The University is an excellent community to work for. We provide a comprehensive induction programme, offer 2 inset days per annum, provide monthly supervisions and team meetings, provide access to training and development opportunities both in house and external and offer 25 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays and 5 further University Days leave. We provide time off in lieu for any meetings that occur outside of working hours. The University provides a generous maternity pay scheme, pension scheme, paid special leave scheme and when required sick pay scheme.

Due to a restructure, which has lead to a number of internal promotions, we are looking to add to our teams of Early Years practitioners. Due to the number of roles we have available, their are opportunities for both Permanent and Fixed-Term Contracts, and Full and Part-Time contracts.
