The Faculty of Engineering is a friendly and supportive environment

Thank you for your interest in the Faculty Director of Student Recruitment role in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nottingham.  This is a new role within the Faculty, and you will be joining at an exciting time as the University prepares to launch its new strategy in early 2020.

You'll find the Faculty to be a friendly and supportive working environment and you will work alongside creative and inspirational people who are eager to share their experiences. We are committed to developing talented people in order to create an exemplary environment where discovery, scholarship, innovation, commercial exploitation and public engagement thrive.

We are seeking a high-quality person whose background, experience and identity broadens and enhances our existing executive team.  Drawing on your personal experience you will lead the design, development, implementation and delivery of the Faculty of Engineering’s undergraduate and postgraduate taught student recruitment strategy.

We believe that diverse teams deliver the highest quality outputs. Within the role you will work to cultivate relationships with a broad range of internal and external people to identify recruitment markets and deliver sustainable recruitment pipelines.

Your business acumen and commercial awareness will allow us to innovate our approach to student recruitment. Your passion for engineering and the Faculty’s design-related subjects will help you to foster collaboration and mutual respect across the team in order to influence our direction of travel.
