Description

About the session

Whether you secure a job working from home, in a busy office environment, or take up multiple freelance projects, being able to manage your own time and being able to communicate formally are essential skills. In this in-person workshop, you will explore a range of techniques for time blocking, tools for balancing different projects, and ways that can help you prioritise your work tasks. You will reflect on how the communication skills that you used throughout your degree transfer to the workplace.

We will help you to discover how you can develop your professional email habits, target your audience in communications, and draft executive summaries for professional reports. This in-person workshop is offered as a collaboration between the Careers and Employability Service and the Learning Development Team.

Suitable for all students
