We are pleased to invite you to the workshop "Modelling, Simulation and Risk assessment for Fractured Geological Media" to be held on 27-29 March at Jubilee Campus Dearing Building, University of Nottingham.
The workshop is hosted by GERC (GeoEnergy Research Centre) within the context of the SECURe EU project, which focuses on monitoring and risk assessment of CCS (carbon capture and storage) and unconventional reservoirs.
The workshop will include research talks and training sessions for PhD students and young researchers of modern computational tools for geological applications.
Participation to the workshop is FREE and open to everyone. Registration is required.
Wednesday March 27 - Dearing Building, Jubilee Campus, Room C35
Welcome and Introduction
Session 1: WP4 meeting (EU SECURe project members only)
Session 2: Overview of FrackRisk (Furthering the Knowledge Base for Reducing the Environmental Footprint of Shale Gas Development) EU project
Session 3: Coffee and group discussion
Session 4: (Maths Building A17) IAM Seminar Invited Speaker: Marco Dentz (CSIC, Barcellona)
